Upper Darby police responded to a shooting call Thursday about 1:45 p.m. in a house in the 100 block of Springton Road.
According to police and EMS radio traffic:
Officers found a female with a gunshot wound to the head in an upstairs back bedroom.
They were also looking for two Black juvenile males seen running from the house.
The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt confirmed the above details and added, “We know who was present at the time of the incident and are working on getting all the details. … No threat, and the gun was recovered on scene.”
