What would you do if you were clear across the country and someone gave you a puppy?
This man didn’t hesitate to make that new place his home. A man who traveled from Texas to Alaska to buy a truck he was planning on driving back to Philadelphia, PA, ended up staying in Alaska. Why? Because while at a gas station, filling up his new truck, he was given a little furry bundle of joy. That’s right, a sweet puppy. He said that he picked up the little guy, they looked into each other’s eyes, didn’t say a peep, and the man said, “Guess you’re mine now. Now, several months later, the duo are still living in Alsaka, are inseparable, and making a life together.

The man said that after he was united with this puppy, whom he has now named Moose, he looked around and felt like he had seen this place in past dreams. He listened to the signs from the universe and decided he was going to stay a little while. Soon after, he was offered a job, found a place, and has now been in Alaska for several months and feels like he is finally where he is supposed to be. A guy from Texas, planning on heading to Pennsylvania, ended up actually living in Alaska, all because a puppy looked him in the eyes and unlocked something.

The two are now “inseparable” and do everything together. The man has been sharing their journey, growing and learning together in the beautiful Alaskan wilderness. The videos of his life feel so natural, as if he has lived there his entire life. He has friends, he enjoys Alaskan events like sled dog races and the national parks, and even Moose has other doggo besties he gets to play with all the time. Sometimes the universe is talking to you, but you aren’t listening, so they need to send in some reinforcements to do the work. That’s where Moose came in! We love it when everything just works out, especially when a puppy is involved!

We will definitely be following this blue-collar man and his fluffy puppy’s journey as they navigate this new life and the beautiful landscape of Alaska. Philly will always be there if he chooses to ever actually go, but now he’ll have a canine companion to stay by his side throughout it all.
