Kim Blasko
OBITUARY
Kim Blasko, 62, of Duryea, passed suddenly after being stricken ill at home in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital ER.
She is survived by her husband Alfred Alfie Blasko and granddaughter, Beyonce Blasko. She is also survived by her sisters Sharon Minelli (Ralph) and Barbara Bigger and brother Walter Yarima (Carol), cousins, nieces and nephews. Born in Old Forge, she is the daughter of the late Michael and Louise (Palumbo) Wirhanowsky. Kim was educated in West Scranton High School and a former member of the former St. John’s Catholic Church on South Main Avenue in West Scranton. Kim was predeceased by her parents, her son David Blasko, daughter Brianna Blasko and stepfather Edward Yarima.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 18, 4 to 6:30 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton with a Blessing Service at 6:30 pm officiated by the Rev. Fr. Richard E. Fox, Pastor of St. Patrick’s Parish West Scranton. Interment will be private.
