The Warriors to Washington veterans’ group of 38 is officially on the road, beginning their annual ride to the nation’s capital with a departure from Erie.
The group gathered at Presque Isle Downs and Casino before heading out around 4 p.m. today, marking the start of the highly anticipated journey. This yearly journey brings together participants each year to honor and support veterans, first responders, and members of the military.
This year, the group is joined by a familiar face in regional news. Renata Steihl from WENY in Elmira, New York, is making the trip alongside the riders, offering a unique perspective as she documents the journey from the road.
