A well-known movie and board game that’s being touted as a quintessential murder mystery and comedy is coming to downtown Erie.
The play Clue will take place at the Warner Theatre on May 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. as part of Broadway in Erie.

Adam Brett, who plays the character Wadsworth, said the play offers high-stakes and fast-paced entertainment with well-known characters such as Colonel Mustard and Mrs. Peacock, among others, that have endured for decades.
Brett’s character, Wadsworth, is a unique character who he said is a prim and proper butler of the manor, looking to ensure the night goes smoothly, which does not happen.

“This is a touchstone of humanity, and it’s also just a great night of theatre. I mean, it’s like joke after joke after joke if you’re laughing and then shrieking and then hissing and all these wonderful things that an audience can react to is the most thrilling experience we can ask for at a night of theatre,” said Brett.
