(WBRE/WYOU) — High pressure off the Carolina coast will give us a warm and dry start to the weekend, although we could see a stray shower late Saturday and Saturday night.
This coastal high will keep our temperatures well above average for the first half of the upcoming week. A cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms into the area late Tuesday, into Wednesday. Cooler temperatures are back for Thursday and Friday.
For today, you can expect sunny skies. It’ll be breezy with a chance of a stray shower late. Highs are expected to be in the upper 70s. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a chance of a scattered shower. Lows will be in the upper 50s.
Sunday will see partly cloudy skies, with a chance of a late day shower. Highs will be in the low 80s.
Monday will be mostly sunny and very warm, with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
Tuesday will be warmer still, with highs near 90 that will be joined by partly cloudy skies and a chance of a late day shower or storm.
Wednesday will be similar, with mostly cloudy skies, chance of scattered showers and storms, and highs in the mid 80s.
Thursday will be partly cloudy with highs near 70, and Friday will be partly sunny with highs near 70.
