SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A patriotic tradition is getting ready to step off in the Electric City.
The northeast PA Armed Forces Day Parade begins Saturday at 11 a.m. Organizers say the walk celebrates and recognizes the service of men and women who sacrifice their lives for our freedom.
Wilkes-Barre Police mourns its retired police captains
The parade begins at the Gino Merli Veterans Center and ends at Courthouse Square.
The festivities begin with a 5k at 9 a.m.
