The Central Pennsylvania Fiber Festival returned to the Lycoming County Fairgrounds in Hughesville for its 12th year on Saturday.
Over 60 vendors came out to showcase their creative work, including yarns, fleeces, and even wooden items.
Newswatch 16 spoke to one woman who sources wool from area sheep farms before selling it right to customers.
“As vendors, these fiber festivals really mean everything to us, particularly because for participants, for people who use fiber products, we want to be able to see it and feel it and touch it, and so being able to be in a place with a lot of different options, everyone has something a little bit different,” said Heather Kennedy.
The fiber festival also included some live demonstrations, such as how to shear a sheep here at the fairgrounds.
