A Harrison-Morton Middle School custodian has been suspended without pay pending an investigation into alleged inappropriate conduct.
The alleged incident happened after school Oct. 17. The employee had no direct contact with students or staff, according to a statement acting Principal Arcelius Brickhouse shared with staff and families.
The district notified Allentown police and placed the custodian on administrative leave. District officials said they could not provide any further information as the issue is a personnel matter.
“The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priorities,” Brickhouse said in his statement. “We appreciate your partnership and trust as we work to support our students, staff, and families.”
