Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Shartlesville Road and Bernville Road in Penn Township at 1:51 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, for a crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle, according to dispatch records.
CPR was in progress at the scene, dispatchers noted. Pennsylvania State Police later ordered an extended road closure around 3:08 p.m.
The Berks County Coroner’s Office confirmed a 38-year-old Reading man died from multiple blunt force injuries. His death was ruled accidental.
The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
