Sunsets on South Main starts Wednesday
On Wednesday, Sunsets on South Main begins outdoors in Midtown Village, not far from Public Square in Wilkes-Barre. The happy hour and free concert series is from 5 to 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month through September. This week’s act is WCK featuring John Morgan Kimock. 41 S. Satirical musical in Hazleton
“Urinetown,” a satirical musical set in a dystopian future where the government bans private toilets, plays in Hazleton Friday through Sunday. Show times for the Pennsylvania Theatre of Performing Arts community theater presentation are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Swingin’ on Vine fundraiser on Friday
Swingin’ on Vine, the 15th annual Scranton Public Library fundraiser, is Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. The 21-plus event features the band Picture Perfect, cookout food, wine, margaritas, beer and raffles.
