Israel closes Al-Tall area in Al-Khader, south Bethlehem, demolishes 3 barracks in Al-Rashayda, east Bethlehem

Bethlehem – Saba:

Israeli enemy forces closed the Al-Tall area in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem in the West Bank, on Wednesday.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that Israeli forces closed the roundabout near the schools in the Old City of al-Khader, preventing vehicular traffic to the western areas (Battir, Nahalin, Husan, and Wadi Fukin), causing severe traffic congestion.

WAFA added that Israeli forces chased schoolchildren through the neighborhoods and streets of the Old City and on the main road leading to the Gate area.

Israeli forces also demolished three sheep pens and destroyed animal feed, injuring several sheep, in the village of al-Rashayda, east of Bethlehem, on Wednesday.

Bakr Rashayda, head of the al-Rashayda village council, reported that Israeli forces demolished three sheep pens in the al-Bariya area, belonging to three residents.

Rashayda added that following the demolition, Israeli forces set fire to the pens, which burned completely, in addition to destroying large quantities of animal feed and injuring several sheep. He pointed out that the Israeli enemy and settlers have recently escalated their repeated attacks, which included attacking shepherds and stealing some of their sheep, and demolishing agricultural rooms and barracks.
