BETHLEHEM, Pa.- State Senator Lisa Boscola announced state funding for various community development projects in the Lehigh Valley.
The funding totaled $3,079, 291, according to a news release.
“These state grants will have a positive impact on our quality of life, especially in providing critically needed equipment for our police, fire and EMS providers,” Boscola said.
Boscola added the grant awards were made possible by the collective efforts of the Lehigh Valley legislative delegation, Representatives Emrick, Flood, Freeman, Mackenzie, McNeill and Samuelson.
According to the news release, the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) approved the investment in the following projects:

City of Bethlehem – $313,608 Bethlehem Emergency Shelter-Conversion to Year Round
City of Bethlehem – $27,181 West Broad Street Renovations
East Bangor
Easton
Forks Township
Freemansburg Borough
Glendon Borough
Hellertown Borough
Lower Mount Bethel Township
Lower Saucon Township
Nazareth Township
Northampton County
Palmer Township
Pen Argyl Borough
Plainfield Township
Portland Borough
Roseto Borough
