Road back open after 2 crashes on Route 22 slow traffic in South Whitehall Twp. | Allentown Area

S. WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – Traffic is back flowing on Route 22 Tuesday morning after two crashes closed the roadway overnight.

State police say the crashes happened between the 15th Street and Cedar Crest Boulevard exits in the westbound lanes.

The first crash — a rollover — happened around 9:15 p.m.

The second crash happened just under an hour later in the traffic caused by the first crash.

There is no word on whether there were any injuries.

Crews cleared the area by 10:30 p.m.
