The UPMC Sunset Music Series is making its return for the 2026 summer season. On six Wednesday evenings residents and visitors can enjoy free live music along the beautiful Lake Erie shores.
This year the series will return to Beach 1 and will be held weekly from June 17 until July 22 beginning at 5:30 p.m. until sunset.
The music series presented by UPMC Health Plan and UPMC Hamot will be hosted by the Presque Isle Partnership.
Those in attendance can enjoy extended swimming hours, hula hoop playshops, food trucks, refreshments, and raffles held weekly with proceeds benefitting the park.
All concerts will directly benefit Presque Isle Park. Beach mobility mats have been funded with public donations to the Presque Isle Partnership ensuring that the events are ADA accessible allowing the entire Erie community to join.
To improve access the EMTA will provide service through the Presque Isle Express from the Tom Ridge Environmental Center to Beach 1 every 20 minutes starting at 3:30 p.m.
The Presque Isle Express EMTA’s Route will run throughout the summer season from May 30 until August 19 every Wednesday and Saturday.
The final show on July 22 will feature the Giant Beach Bonfire on Beach 1 beginning at 8:50 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Visitors at Presque Isle must follow these park guidelines:
NO SMOKING: Beach 1 is a smoke free beach
NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED
KEEP THE PARK CLEAN. Practice Leave No Trace principles you bring it; you take it home with you.
PET-FRIENDLY W/ RESTRICTIONS: Pets must remain leashed and stay behind the lifeguard chairs near the tree line. Visitors are encouraged to be mindful of their pet’s comfort during live performances
