SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – With their Atlantic Division Final series knotted at one game each, the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins and Springfield Thunderbirds met for game 3 at the MassMutual Center on Tuesday. In a closely contested contest where mistakes are costly, the Penguins took advantage of two defensive mistakes by the Thunderbirds to emerge with the 2-1 victory and a 2-1 series lead.
