(WJET/WFXP)– The Pennsylvania man accused of impersonating an officer from the City of Erie to lure three children into his car at Frontier Park will spend the next few years in prison upon receiving his sentence on Tuesday.
According to Assistant District Attorney Shane Kaliszewski, 36-year-old Jacob Clark of Mercer, PA, was sentenced to 30 to 80 months in prison, followed by two years of supervised release for the incident on September 30, 2025.

Clark previously pleaded guilty to felony possession of a weapon, along with misdemeanor luring a child into a motor vehicle and impersonating a public servant on January 22.
Clark had previously been convicted of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and did not have a valid license to carry a firearm.
During the incident, police said Clark pretended to be a lieutenant from the Erie Police Department and offered the three children between the ages of 12 and 15 marijuana, showed them a firearm and pulled his pants down slightly to show a scar he claimed was from being shot.

Police said Clark then drove the children to a second location, and later dropped the children off, where he was confronted by one of the children’s mothers.
Erie police later tracked Clark down and took him into custody on October 6, 2025.
