ELLWOOD a family-owned supplier of quality metals and custom engineered components has announced that Carter Haas a Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy senior has received the ELLWOOD Industrial Maintenance Scholarship.
Haas was awarded $20,000 at Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy in Erie, to support his future education at the Erie Institute of Technology within the Electrician Program.
The Electricians program will prepare Haas for careers in residential, commercial, and industrial electricity with hands-on training.
The ELLWOOD Industrial Maintenance Scholarship had been developed in 2021 as part of the ongoing commitment of ELLWOOD to provide the next generation of trades professionals with the tools needed to succeed. These scholarships are available to graduating seniors and GED recipients who plan to continue their education in Mechatronics or equivalent industrial maintenance programs.
