SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two people were arrested in connection to a March shooting that left three injured, and a third person was arrested in connection to the case on separate drug charges, officials say.
According to the Scranton Police Department, Elijah Barcola of Scranton, 24, was arrested Thursday after being wanted for almost two months as the accused aggressor in a March 14 shooting outside Big Daddy’s Lounge.
Distract Attorney Brian Gallagher says three people were injured in that shooting, Barcola included. One victim was shot in the hand and release from the hospital the next day, and another victim was in the hospital for several days because they were shot multiple times.

Gallaghers says Barcola was driven to the hospital by Taquil Baley, 26, who was arrested for allegedly attempting to avoid apprehension.
Barcola was arrested at his girlfriend, Konstinse Wyman’s, home. After executing a search warrant on the apartment, which police say revealed a gun, drugs, and a scale, Wyman was also arrested.
Scranton Police say Barcola and Wyman received multiple charges, including gun and drug possession and endangering welfare of children.
