OBITUARY
Kathleen Marie Dowse, 60, passed away on Monday, May 18, after a short but hard-fought battle with cancer.
She was born February 10th, 1966, to John and Elaine Durkin.
Kathleen was fortunate to find true love in her husband, John, whom she affectionately called Handsome. They were kindred spirits who did everything together. In him, she found a new lease on life.
She enjoyed campfires, fishing and everything Snoopy. She also loved holidays with family and spending time with friends.
Kathleen is survived by her children: daughter Alyssa and husband Nicholas; son Matthew and wife Sarah; daughter Rachel and husband Alex; son Jason; and daughter Marissa and husband Justin. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Nicholas, Enzo, Willow, Mason, Kamden and Kinley. Also surviving is her beloved beagle, Mac and her childhood best friend, Cindy.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine; her father, John; and her brother, John.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, especially her nurse, Maria, for the compassionate care and support provided during this difficult time.
