Erie’s water taxi is back for the season, giving riders an easy way to get from downtown to Presque Isle.
The Presque Isle Water Taxi launched this Friday at noon, returning for its second season. It runs between Dobbins Landing and the Waterworks Ferry Dock, offering a quick trip across the bay.
Service will operate Friday through Sunday for the last two weekends of May, with expanded hours coming in June.
A new feature making a splash is combo passes that bundle water taxi rides with the Bicentennial Tower at a discount.
Organizers also plan to announce free ridership days later this summer.
