Even with a rainy delay on Saturday and cooler temperatures on Sunday, guests were ready to make a splash as Water World officially opened for the season Sunday morning.
Partly cloudy skies did not stop visitors from enjoying the water park’s popular attractions, like the tube and body water slides, the wave pool, the kiddie pool areas, and larger rides like the Rocket Blast.
Crews at Water World are continuing to work on several new attractions expected to debut later this summer, including Big Water Bend and Winding Waters Endless River.
Waldameer Park & Water World will also be open on Monday for Memorial Day weekend. Waldameer Park will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Water World: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
