READING, Pa. – A snapped pole — completely unrelated to Wednesday’s weather — cut the power to hundreds in the afternoon.
Part of the pole could be seen dangling from wires in the area of North Sixth and Woodward streets in Reading.

Met-Ed said the damage was cause by equipment failure and was temporarily repaired.
The power company said the pole will be replaced later this week.
