ROME, N.Y. — A woman was arrested after police responded to a reported theft at a Domino’s restaurant in Rome.
According to the Rome Police Department, officers were called to 113 Erie Blvd. West at about 8 p.m. on May 22 for a stolen tip jar.
While investigating, a woman told officers the same person had just stolen her vape pen.
Police said Ashleigh P. Rimiller forcefully took a backpack from the victim, took a vape pen from inside and ran away.
Officers found Rimiller nearby and arrested her.
Rimiller was charged with robbery and petty larceny.
She was processed at Rome Police Headquarters and taken to the Oneida County Jail for pre-arraignment detention.
