READING, Pa. – Court documents show a man waived his preliminary hearing on charges stemming from a crash that led to the deaths of two volunteer fire chiefs.
Alexander Sepulveda Rivera was expected in court for a hearing today.
His next court appearance is now planned for next month.
Authorities say he was driving a car when he swerved off Route 222 in Richmond Township last month and hit an off-road vehicle being driven by two members of the Walnuttown Fire Company.
Those two men, Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Chief Rob Shick, both died from their injuries.
