DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Drivers traveling through Luzerne County should expect delays Thursday due to pothole patching work on Interstate 81.
According to transportation officials, lane restrictions will be in place on Interstate 81 northbound between the Mountain Top/Wilkes-Barre exit and the Bear Creek exit.
The work is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Officials said the lane closures are needed so crews can perform pothole repairs along the highway.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible and should expect slower traffic through the work zone.
