In a recent Facebook update the Erie Humane Society has announced that Sid the kitten that was very ill, passed away sometime during the night.
The 5-week-old kitten was brought into the shelter by a good Samaritan who knew Sid needed help. While Sid had been recovering, he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
The shelter expressed that they were heartbroken with Sid’s passing as he seemed to be doing well just the day before.
