CATASAUQUA, Pa. – One of the men accused of throwing an explosive device near a primary voting site earlier this month is due in court Thursday.
Jack Pletz and his father, Matthew Pletz, are accused of throwing the device from a pickup truck near the Salem United Church of Christ polling location in Catasauqua on Election Day.
Police say when they searched their truck after the incident, they found 17 more explosive devices inside.
Matthew was arrested that day. His son surrendered days later.
Jack Pletz is due in court for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
