Lehigh County Commissioner facing drug charges waives preliminary hearing, case moves forward | State

LEHIGH COUNTY, Pa. – A Lehigh County Commissioner facing several dozen felony drug charges is headed to trial.

Zachary Cole Borghi waived his preliminary hearing Thursday.

The Lehigh County Commissioner was originally arrested last year in a multi-state drug ring that led to 41 arrests.

Then this year, Cole Borghi faced even more legal trouble as he was charged with more than 100 felony charges.

His next court date is on July 16.
