Construction work that starts Tuesday will lead to single-lane conditions on Route 61 in both directions between Blue Mountain Drive and Lowland Road in Tilden Township, PennDOT officials announced Thursday.
Traffic restrictions will be in effect around the clock northbound and southbound on the highway through Oct. 30, according to PennDOT estimates.
The affected stretch of Route 61 goes from the commercial district northwest of Hamburg to the Schuylkill County line.
