A months-long investigation into drug trafficking in the City of Pittston ended Thursday with police raiding a suspected drug house and arresting its occupant.

Albert L. Kachinsky Jr., 60, is accused of selling methamphetamine during multiple controlled drug deals organized by undercover officers earlier this year, police said.

Thursday’s search of Kachinsky’s home at 15 Howley Circle turned up meth, fentanyl, crack cocaine, prescription medications and drug-packaging materials, according to police.

Police charged Kachinsky with four felony counts of drug trafficking.

Magisterial District Judge Daniel O’Donnell arraigned Kachinsky on the charges and set bail at $25,000.

Kachinsky was being held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility with a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 9.
