To coincide with the Fifth Annual Electric City Flower Show in Nay Aug Park on Saturday, June 20, the Everhart Museum is pleased to present the return of “Art in Bloom,” a curated experience that brings together fine art and floral design.
Selected works from the Museum’s collection will be reimagined through original floral interpretations created by regional artists and designers. Each participant will be paired with a work of art and invited to create an arrangement inspired by its color, form, texture, and narrative.
Visitors are invited to explore the exhibition and participate in the daily voting for their favorite arrangement, with a final recognition announced online to conclude Electric City Flower Show Week, which offers a host of flower-themed events.
The exhibit will be on display June 17 through June 21 at the Everhart Museum, 1901 Mulberry Street, Scranton. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday–Sunday, and the museum is closed Monday–Tuesday. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free for children 12 and under. Admission is free for Everhart Museum members.
