Glow Wild is back, brighter and wilder than ever! From April 30 to July 5, join the Erie Zoo every Thursday through Sunday to marvel at stunning, handcrafted lanterns inspired by your favorite zoo animals. Bring your family, friends, or someone special to see the Erie Zoo in a whole new light. In addition to the glowing lantern displays, enjoy live cultural performances at 7:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. — a thrilling complement to the evening’s festivities. Erie’s Wild Rib Cook-Off and Music Festival

National touring and award-winning BBQ Rib Cooking Teams (as seen on the Food Network) compete for ‘Best Ribs’ and ‘Best Sauce.’ The festival also includes local and regional entertainment, works by artisans and craftsmen, additional festival foods and treats, specialty acts, beer and spirits, and a kid’s Fun Zone. PACA presents: The Shark Is Broken

Written by Ian Shaw (son of Jaws star, Robert Shaw) and Joseph Nixon, the play takes place in 1974 aboard the Orca while production is stalled due to unpredictable weather and technical failures. The story captures the ego clashes, alcoholism, and bonding that occurred among the three lead actors while they were stranded at sea, unaware they were making cinema history. 2026 Bayfront Quilt Fest

Hands All Around Erie Quilt Guild presents the 2026 Bayfront Quilt Fest on Friday, May 29 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bayfront Convention Center. Guests can enter to win raffles, shop the vendor mall and of course, enjoy a multitude of beautiful, handmade quilt exhibits.
