Grace of Calvary’s Bible Heritage Museum & Prayer Place will officially celebrate its grand opening on June 12 in Erie.
The free public event will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Millcreek Mall next to JCPenney’s.
A special opening for pastors, missionaries, and evangelists is also scheduled for June 5 from 10 a.m. to noon.
According to organizers, the museum outlines the history of the King James Bible and highlights how people and their sacrifices helped preserve God’s Word through history. The museum is designed to serve as a resource for church youth groups, homeschool co-ops, and Christian schools planning class sessions or field trips.
Museum features include more than 120 feet of historical displays, an educational theatre, a 20-foot timeline from creation to today, and interactive hands-on exhibits.
The Prayer Place will also offer prayer support for visitors seeking encouragement, prayer requests, or guidance through difficult times.
Regular hours for the Museum and Prayer Place will be noon to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with Wednesday hours from noon to 4 p.m. The facility will be closed Sundays.
