BERKS CO., Pa. – Pennsylvania’s agriculture secretary made a stop in Berks County Friday to celebrate the state’s brand-new beef trail.

The Pennsylvania Beef Trail launched with 73 stops across the state.

It coincides with May being beef month in Pennsylvania.

The trail encourages people to explore restaurants and support Pennsylvania agriculture.

Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding said, “This is sort of a new development… I think it’s cool because it’s not one where the state has sort of said, here’s our Ice Cream Trail… this is our Wine Trail, right… these are sort of nominated by consumers based on the beef.”

This is the debut year for the Pennsylvania Beef Trail. You can check out the full trail on the state Beef Council’s website.
