Four hospitalized after head-on crash in Scott Twp.

Four adults were hospitalized after suffering multiple fractures and broken bones during a head-on crash along Lakeland Drive in Scott Twp. on Saturday, Patrol Officer Jonathan Davitt said.

Crews responded to the crash involving two vehicles — a Hyundai Kona and Honda CRV — around 6:17 p.m., he said. Emergency personnel cleared from the scene around 7:30 p.m., Davitt added.

The patient who suffered the most severe injuries remained hospitalized in stable condition as of Sunday afternoon, Davitt said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
