Police are seeking help from the public to identify three men after, officials said, a gunman fired into a crowd during a fight in Philadelphia’s Germantown section on May 17, 2026.
On Monday, officials released surveillance video online in the hopes of identifying the individuals involved in this incident.
According to police, the incident that was caught on camera happened at about 11:50 a.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026, along the 100 block of Manheim Street in Philly’s Germantown section, when two armed men arrived on that block after another individual called for help after a fight.
Two men armed with handguns arrived at the scene and, officials said, one of these men fired several shots into a crowd during this incident.
No one was reportedly injured in this incident, officials said.
Police described the man who is believed to have fired into the crowd as having cornrows in his hair and wearing a gray hoodie, white shirt and black pants at the time the shooting occurred.
The other armed individual in this incident was described by police as having braids and wearing a black hoodie and black pants at the time of the shooting.
A third, unarmed man sought in this incident was described as wearing black shorts and a t-shirt during the incident.
