HANOVER TWP., Pa. – A stretch of Route 22 in Northampton County reopened after drivers were detoured for about half an hour Monday morning while crews conducted a follow-up crash investigation.
Pennsylvania State Police detoured traffic starting at 10:30 a.m. Monday on Route 22 westbound to the Route 512 exit.
Crews were conducting the investigation Monday after a four-vehicle crash Saturday sent multiple people to local hospitals with injuries, state police said.
State police said the crash happened Saturday around 8:46 p.m. on Route 22 westbound in Hanover Township.
The roadway remained closed until 12:45 a.m. Sunday.
