In Chester, 25 people were arrested and over 50 animals were rescued over the weekend when officials said an active bird fight was broken up by police. Officials with the Pennsylvania SPCA said that they joined with state police, the Chester City Police Department and the Central Delaware Organized Crime Unit at a home on Saturday. During the raid, 52 live birds were seized and three dead roosters were discovered. Officials learned of the plans for the fight several days prior. The animals are now in the care of the PSPCA.

In Chester, 25 people were arrested and over 50 animals were rescued over the weekend when officials said an active bird fight was broken up by police.
