OBITUARY
Frank E. Dolan, Jr., 89, of Covington Twp., Pa, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Born November 24, 1936, in Elka Park, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Helen (Curran) Dolan. Frank proudly served in the United States Army with the 1st Cavalry Division and enjoyed a successful career in engineering and construction. He owned and operated Dolan Wolters Excavating and later served for many years as Town Engineer for Mount Olive Township, New Jersey.
Frank was predeceased by his first wife, Regina (Kovach) Dolan; his son, Andrew Dolan; and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Padula) Dolan; his children, Tammi Huff (Glenn), Frank Dolan III (Debbie), and Jennifer McGuire (Bill); his stepchildren, Ron Ubaldini (Denise), Nancy Davis (Rob), and Eric Ubaldini (Ashley); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and Bo, his beloved dog.
A blessing service will be held on Thursday, June 4th, at 6:00 pm at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 3 First St. in Spring Brook Twp., PA 18444.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, also at the funeral home.
Interment with Rite of Committal and military honors will take place on Friday, June 5th, at 1:00 pm in Stanhope Union Cemetery in Netcong, New Jersey. Family and friends are kindly requested to proceed directly to the cemetery on Friday.
