ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Superheroes and villains will take over Allentown this coming weekend.
The Lehigh Valley Comic Convention is taking place at the Allentown Fairgrounds on Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th.
The event is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
More than 500 tables will be set up, featuring tons of comic books and pop culture merchandise.
There will also be more than 60 feature guests, including ink-artist Bob Almond and Darren Auck, an illustrator and director for Marvel, DC, and Nickelodeon.
“So, we’re gonna have all kinds of stuff. We’re gonna do a lot of five-dollar soft-cover graphic novels, Manga, hard-cover books, and then we’ll have a nice collection of what we call ‘con-stock.’ It’s those priced books from like two dollars to 30 dollars,” says John Hohn, owner of Jaf Comics.
The Comic-Con will also feature a “creator alley” and “cosplay corner.”
