A driver is dead after crossing into oncoming traffic and crashing into three other vehicles in Bucks County on Tuesday, according to the Bensalem Police Department.
The crash happened around 4:48 p.m. on June 2 near the intersection of Bristol Road and Chestnut Avenue, police said.
Investigators explained that a man was involved in a domestic incident and fled in a Toyota RAV4 on Bristol Road very fast.
At some point, the driver crossed into oncoming traffic while trying to pass another vehicle which led to the Toyota crashing into a Hyundai Kona, officials said. The Hyundai was forced off the road and hit a fence.
The Toyota was sent airborne before crashing into a Honda SUV and a Ford pickup truck and then rolling over, according to police.
The impact of the crash left the driver of the Toyota dead, police reported.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
