EMMAUS, Pa. – Emmaus fell in four sets to the dangerous Hempfield volleyball squad in the opening round of the state playoffs.
The Green Hornets found success in the third set, 25-19, with a high-rising kill from Bilal Kerim.
The Black Knights took the first two sets convincingly. 25-19 then 25-18. Mason Kohler and Chase Crawford helped Hempfield control the match early on.
The fourth set saw a Nathan Manning kill to help them secure it 25-23. They will advance to the next round of the PIAA volleyball playoffs.
