Zot Artz ‘Art for All,’ comes to Erie, on June 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. all the way from Michigan to delight locals with its inclusive art project catered to individuals with disabilities. The event will be held at Erie Homes for Children and Adults (EHCA) will be hosted at 4950 W 23rd.
This project was inspired by its founder, Dawyne Szot. Szot wanted to create adaptive art tools for providers, programs, and other organizations to demonstrate his respect for those in his life that struggled with disabilities.
Said to be a “one-of-a-kind artistic experience,” Zot Artz offers an immersive project that accommodates and welcomes everyone to participate.
The project will feature a large sheet that will be turned into a canvas as approximately 150 Erie Homes for Children and Adults (EHCA) residents will participate in this event.
Individuals will be equipped with adaptive art tools such as wheel stamps, painters, and more in order to create a paint layered masterpiece that celebrates the beauty of inclusivity.
