Police in Lehigh County warn drivers of vehicle fire  | Allentown Area

SALISBURY TOWNSHIP, Pa.- A car is on fire in Lehigh County on Wednesday, causing local police to warn drivers to avoid the area.

The Salisbury Township Police Department reported a vehicle fire on South Pike Avenue at East Rock Road.

Officials advised drivers on their Facebook page to avoid the area if they can. 

The road was temporarily closed but has since reopened.

It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured in the fire.  

The cause of the fire is also unknown.
