READING, Pa. – Events are planned in Reading to celebrate the return of World War II Weekend.
Friday will feature the “Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Parade” from Reading Regional Airport to Penn Street in Center City. It features historic military vehicles, reenactors and live music.
That free event will take place downtown from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Then at 2 p.m., “The Blue Angels” in IMAX 3D will be shown at Reading’s IMAX Theater. Tickets for the movie are $1. The documentary is about an elite class of pilots in the U.S. Navy.
