The field has narrowed in Aurora’s ongoing EMS crisis. City Administrator Adam Darbro told Local4 News in an email that AmeriPro — one of two companies that submitted proposals to take over the city’s ambulance services — has been eliminated from consideration. “Their proposal did not reflect any financial improvement in comparison to our current operation,” Darbro wrote. AmeriPro did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
