SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Get ready for a taste of Greece right in the Electric City: The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is hosting its Annual Summer Greek Food Festival.
The church is located in downtown Scranton on North Washington Street.
A wide variety of Greek food is available on the menu, which brings people from all over to the area.

“It’s wonderful that we all come together, and we can, you know, present this to you know the community with people driving as far as Luzerne County, the Poconos is coming to try our food, and year after year. A lot of people have come back, which is wonderful,” Festival Coordinator Alex Molfetas explained.
The festival runs through Saturday and is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
