If you’re looking for something new to try this summer, the Pennsylvania Beef Council suggests spending some time touring the state’s best beef.
The council, a nonprofit focused on promoting the state’s beef industry, announced its 2026 Pennsylvania Beef Trail on May 1. The trail features 73 spots, including four eateries in Lancaster County, and shouts out their beef-centric dishes that consumers wanted to highlight.
Nichole Hockenberry, the council’s executive director, said the council first opened the floor for trail nominations during the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg in January and kept nominations open to consumers across the state through spring. Every restaurant nominated by the public with a physical location was automatically added to the trail.
