A 16-year-old has been charged in connection to a shooting that killed a 19-year-old in Pittsburgh’s Market Square. Authorities have arrested and charged B’Jauhn Dankins with criminal homicide, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a firearm by a minor, person not to possess and tampering with evidence.

Pittsburgh police detectives began investigating the fatal late-night shooting in Market Square downtown on May 12.Terryll Little, 19, of Duquesne was found shot twice in the chest around 11 p.m. Officers applied chest seals until medics arrived and rushed him to the hospital, where he underwent surgery.He did not survive.Witnesses originally told police Little was involved in an altercation with another man, who police believe he knew, before the shooting happened.
